Aircon Engineers started in 1995 as a specialist air curtain workshop in Mumbai.

What began with a focused expertise in air curtains evolved through decades of working closely with industrial and commercial customers. We learned that the challenges faced at a facility entrance or opening rarely exist in isolation.

Air entering through loading bays and doorways can increase refrigeration and air-conditioning loads. Increased loads can lead to higher energy consumption and operating costs. Uncontrolled entry points can also introduce dust, insects, fumes and other contaminants, creating challenges for hygiene-sensitive and controlled environments.

Recognizing these interconnected challenges led us to broaden our engineering capabilities.

We expanded into PVC Strip Curtains and hygiene-focused fixtures, followed by expanded fabrication capabilities for cold-chain applications. More recently, our expertise has extended into modular containment solutions for cleanroom-adjacent and hazardous zones.

Today, Aircon Engineers approaches projects from a wider facility-envelope perspective.

Our project team can work across the lifecycle of a solution—from quotation and engineering to fabrication, installation and service—helping customers work with one accountable team for their environmental control requirements.

Despite our growth, our original workshop ethic has remained at the heart of the business.
